Acceptance

By subscribing to or using The Crude Signal ("the Service"), operated by Anuj Mehta (sole proprietor, Ontario, Canada), you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

The Service

The Crude Signal provides subscription access to energy-market dashboards, statistical signals, visualizations, and AI-generated narrative analysis, drawn from the public and licensed sources listed on our Data Sources page.

Not Financial Advice

The Crude Signal is an analytical and informational tool. Nothing on the platform is financial, investment, trading, or professional advice. All signals, forecasts, statistical projections, and narratives are for informational purposes only. Energy and commodity markets carry risk, and you are solely responsible for your decisions. We make no guarantee of the accuracy, completeness, or future performance of any data or signal. Past patterns do not predict future results.

Subscriptions & Billing

• Subscriptions are billed monthly in advance through Stripe, in US dollars (USD).
• Your subscription renews automatically each month until you cancel.
• You may cancel anytime; access continues until the end of your current billing period.
• We do not offer refunds for any portion of a billing period.

Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Share your credentials or resell access without authorization (multi-seat licensing is available on the Enterprise tier).
• Scrape, redistribute, or republish the platform's data or content beyond your own internal use, except where explicitly permitted (such as the embeddable widget).
• Disrupt, reverse-engineer, or attempt unauthorized access to the Service.

Intellectual Property

The platform's design, signals, derived analysis, and software belong to The Crude Signal. Underlying market data belongs to the respective providers listed on our Data Sources page. Your subscription grants a limited, non-exclusive right to use the Service — not ownership of it.

Data Sources & Attribution

We use public-domain and licensed data, and honor each provider's attribution and redistribution terms — see our Data Sources page. We provide derived analysis and signals, not raw redistribution of licensed data.

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, The Crude Signal and its operator are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for losses arising from your use of — or reliance on — the Service or its data. The Service is provided "as is," without warranties of any kind.

Termination

We may suspend or end access for violation of these terms. You may cancel your subscription anytime through your account or by contacting us.

Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario and the applicable laws of Canada.

Changes

We may update these terms over time. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance; material changes will be reflected by the date below.
